This 3/8 in, Series 7, dual check valve backflow preventer prevents the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the drinking water supply at the service entrance or at individual outlets. It consists of a chrome-plated brass body construction, with two independently operating check valves and stainless steel springs. The valve is designed for non-health hazard residential water system containment, continuous pressure applications, such as wash down sinks with a hose type device. Check with local inspection authorities for installation requirements. Minimum working pressure is 10 psi (69 kPa). Maximum working pressure is 150 psi (10 bar). Maximum recommended flow is 15 gpm (57 Lpm).
