Pressure differential bypass valves divert excess flow when one circulator pump is used with multiple zones, reducing wear on the pump, avoiding noise problems in the control valves and allowing more stable temperature control. Valves are pressure-adjustable. Connections (union ends) are to copper pipe for 1/2 and 3/4 in. valves. The 1 in. valve is supplied with 1 in. MPT union ends.
