Our 3M™ AQUA-PURE™ in-line water filter system, AP717, is a single cartridge that helps reduce sediment. Ideal for refrigerators that do not include a built-in water filtration system and/or ice maker, this system can also be used for drinking fountains, coffee machines and drink dispensers. Our system uses specially formulated activated carbon and progressive porosity media for effective filtration down-to 5 um nominal. It combines chlorine taste and odor and sediment. 5 gpm flow rate. The cartridge, using standard 1/4 in NPT inlet/outlet connections, is sanitary in design and requires no contact with the filter media during change out. To maximize system performance and efficiency, regularly scheduled maintenance including replacement of-the filter cartridges at the required interval, at the rated capacity or sooner if a reduction in water flow occurs is required. Filter life is dependent on actual use and incoming water quality.
