Oatey® no-caulk shower drains are designed for use with preformed shower bases and mechanically attach over 2 in SCH 40 DWV pipe - no-lead caulking required. Each drain comes with a universal 4-1/4 in round snap-in strainer in a stainless steel finish to complement existing bathroom fixtures and decor. • 4-1/4 in round plastic strainer
• Mechanically compressed gasket eliminates need for lead caulking
• Compression gasket fits around 2 in SCH 40 DWV pipe
• Drain seals to the base with fiber and rubber washers
• Can be used with 1-1/2 in SCH 40 DWV pipe and 1-1/2 or 2 in copper DWV pipe when caulking gasket is replaced
• Drain top accommodates 4-1/4 in universal snap-tite strainers in a variety of designer finishes
• When connecting to shower base, use silicone sealant
