Dahl water hammer arresters are available in the "AA" sizes which are recommended for point of use residential applications. For best results, they should be installed as close as possible to the end point device, less than 2 m. The O-ring sealed piston allows for installation at any angle, without loss of the pressurized air. These arresters have been tested to 500000 cycles without failure and are guaranteed to control water hammer for the lifetime of the water system.
