The 3M™ AQUA-PURE™ under sink reverse osmosis replacement water filter cartridge AP5527 is a multi-stage reverse osmosis replacement water filter set of two cartridges that is for use with the NSF certified AP-RO5500 reverse osmosis system. This set of cartridges, as part of-the system, is the pre-filter and post-filter which reduces particulate, chlorine taste and odor. Our 3M™ AQUA-PURE™ under sink reverse osmosis replacement water filter cartridge AP5527, set for use in the AP-RO5500 reverse osmosis system, installs under the kitchen sink and delivers cleaner, clearer, better tasting drinking water through a dedicated drinking water faucet. This system provides water filtration on demand for drinking water, coffee, tea, baby formula and cooking purposes. Our universal system design allows for use on both chlorinated (municipal) and non-chlorinated (well water) systems. To maximize system performance and efficiency, regularly scheduled maintenance is required, which includes replacement of-the filter cartridges at the required interval, at the rated capacity or sooner if a reduction in water flow occurs. Filter life is dependent on actual use and incoming water quality. Our sanitary quick-change (SQC) design allows you to easily change-out and replace the encapsulated media cartridges with a simple quarter-turn without touching the spent filter media or contaminated water. The 3M™ AQUA-PURE™ AP5527 under sink reverse osmosis replacement water filter set of cartridges, working together with other parts, is capable of reducing many contaminants from your drinking water. Everything is self-contained in the cartridges.
