Freon MO79 is a replacement for R-502 and HCFC-containing blends (e.g., HP80, HP81, and R-408A) used in medium- and low-temperature refrigeration systems with expansion valves sized with R-502. Freon MO79 can also be used to replace R-404A and has a 23% lower global warming potential (GWP) than R-404A. It is compatible with traditional and new lubricants, providing a cost-effective R-404A or R-22 retrofit.
